We have had the opportunity to participate in a review of Old Republic, while also interviewing other people that had the same opportunity during the beta run. It must be stated that it is a rather mixed opinion from that of one that felt that the game is better than slice pie, to another giving it not so positive experience. This review is also based on how far that of the 3 had been able to make it, to that of the light to dark side feel for the game. Remember this isn’t a review in order to win over a reader or its choice to purchase that of Old Republic, it is for that of an objective opinion and nothing more.

While many of you hop into the game every day with a plan of what you want to accomplish, others log in to find out what is going on. The new Events feature on Tribble is intended to give both the planner and the spontaneous player something new to do in game.
The idea behind Special Events is that there are some activities that you can participate in only during a specific window of time. Some of these events will include new content specifically designed to play as an event, while others will offer bonuses for playing existing parts of the game. In all cases, we are aiming to make playing Special Events a worthwhile experience.

Now that 343 Industries has assumed control of the Halo franchise, the company has weighed what design decisions are fundamental to the series DNA. Among them is the lack of iron-sights for weapons, which came to represent the idea of change and legacy in general in a recent interview.
"So it's really 'What is appropriate for your game, and what is appropriate for your encounters?'," said 343's Frank O'Connor. "Halo has these slightly longer, more strategic encounters."

A captain's starship is critical to success in any mission, and so knowing what starships are available is something all captains should be familiar with.
On the Tribble test server, we are experimenting with some line-up changes to the starships for both the Federation and Klingon Defense Force. Our goal is to fill out the starship options at each tier for both in-game and C-Store starships. See the two charts below for details.
The big news for starship lovers is that there are a number of new ships due to show up on Tribble in the coming weeks to help fill out the starship options. These new ships are italicized in the chart. We'll be unveiling the details on these ships as they make it to Tribble, but we thought you might enjoy a preview.
