1UP.com has put up a new preview of Call of Duty: World at War from the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany.

Here’s a little excerpt and some brand new footage:As someone who really appreciated and enjoyed COD4’s impressive scripted events, I came away from this demo far less concerned about Treyarch’s ability to replicate them. The tank battle in Peleliu and the Russians blasting the hell out of Berlin’s streets to the background of a heavy, retro-industrial soundtrack are proof that Treyarch’s on the right track. If it can keep that sort of consistency throughout the game, there shouldn’t be much to worry about.
