A new report was released today by the top providers of video game sales in the U.S., UK and Japan – listing the amount of units sold for the top five games from January through July. As expected, GTA IV is in the lead, having sold nearly 6,3 million units. In second place is Super Smash Bros: Brawl, selling just over 5,4 million units. While there’s obviously no data for GTA IV in Japan (releases there October 31), interestingly Super Smash Bros has sold more in Japan than GTA IV did in the UK.
