Bioware recently confirmed that sci-fi action RPG Mass Effect will be delayed on its official forums. Originally set for a May 6th release date the company has stated the game will now launch in North America on May 28th and in Europe on June 6th.

Bioware said a few more weeks of play testing will ensure a more polished experience. Mass Effect was previously released on the Xbox 360 in November 2007, while Bioware and co-developer Demiurge Studios are adding new control schemes, missions, and graphical capabilities to the PC version, the review for the epic Xbox 360 title can be found here.
