The Valve team are spilling their guts on what the Medic has new to his arsenal.
The Syringe and Bonesaw are being shuffled out the door to make way for The Blutsaugher and The Ubersaw. Now those are medical instrument terms we can all deal with.
The Blutsaugher is a syringe gun which when they hit the enemy they’ll draw their health but they won’t be able to land a critical hit. The Ubersaw converts the damage it inflicts and funnels it into Ubercharge, apparently four hits and you’re mediguns are ready to go. The third gun, The Critcrieg, will fire off with crit-shots in the mix.
In order to access these new blood-dripping weapons you’ll need to reach one third of the medic achievements for The Blutsaugher, two thirds for The Critcrieg and all for owning The Ubersaw.
