NPD’s Best Selling PC Games of March
Posted by Acidrain, 222 days ago Apr 17, 2008 21:25

Courtesy of NPD.

1. The Sims 2 FreeTime Expansion Pack
2. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War Soulstorm Expansion Pack
3. Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
4. World Of Warcraft: Battle Chest
5. Sins Of A Solar Empire
6. Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath Expansion Pack
7. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Adv Warfighter Jewel Case
8. World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Expansion Pack
9. World Of Warcraft
10. Frontlines: Fuel of War

It was recently confirmed that The Sims franchise has sold over 100 million units, and the recent release of the Sims 2 FreeTime Expansion Pack ferociously leads that freak occurrence . Compared to February’s NPD totals, the March release of Dawn of War Soulstorm Expansion Pack nabbed the second spot away from Sins of a Solar Empire which has moved down to a respectable 5th place. Last months’ first place winner, Call of Duty 4, drops to 3rd place and the World of Warcraft: Battle Chest drops concurrently to 4th. The Kane’s Wrath Expansion Pack, which released late March managed to "command" a 6th place presence. Somehow the jewel case version of Advanced Warfighter snatched the 7th position. All things World of Warcraft continue to stay in the top 10, while Frontlines: Fuel of War nabs the tenth spot away from Crysis
