Now that Team Fortress 2 has finally been updated with a new mode, new achievemtns, and fancy unlockable gadgetry for the medic class, we decided to creep into a server and see how things were going. The few we did visit, surprisingly, weren’t completely stuffed with medics frantically trying to complete all the achievements to get their new toys. In fact, things went pretty well for our team, with just the right number of medics running around to support the heavies, soldiers, pyros, and demomen huddled around the mining cart.

To celebrate our victory, we decided to share. The clips posted below should give you a good idea of how the mode works, showing off our team moving the mining cart through sections A and B of the map.

If you have no idea what we’re talking about, check out this preview for a rundown of what the update included and how it all fits together. And in case you’re lazy and hate clicking links, the mode basically requires you and your team to move a mining cart along a pre-determined route. As you move the cart, the other team tries to kill you, and once you reach the end of the route, you win. There’s more to it than that, but…oh hey look, embedded videos!
