Infinity Ward has released patch 1.6 for Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare. This update includes 4 new maps: Broadcast, Chinatown, Killhouse and Creek. The map pack is also free unlike its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 counterparts, which cost roughly $10. Also included in the patch are:

- Hardcore and old school server browser filters.
- Fix for a Denial of Service attack.
- Includes all the changes up to patch 1.5.
