Community member maniche has recently released several screenshots and a story update to his upcoming european temperate forest based map, Woody. For those of you not familiar with the level, it’s premise is after having crashed in the location, the player must then continue the mission to investigate a mysterious event in the mountains, fighting their way through the unique scenery.

Story Update

The GIS (Global Investigation Services) have strong evidence of nuclear activity by the Koreans. Since this is over enemy territory, the GIS cannot send in any scientists to examine the island and it’s abnormal activity. Therefore, they asked the US SUS (Special Unit Services) for some help. This is where you make your entrance; you are an elite soldier of a secret, undercover force named DFU (Delta Force Unit). Your abilities to adapt in the most hostile and unwanted places make you the #1 choice for this operation. Lives are at stake, if you don’t complete this mission there is going to be many casualties. After you get the necessary briefing, you will be escorted directly to a US "flyer," which would then tkae you till the dropzone where you would begin on your mission...
