EA posted a short blog entry about Battlefield Heroes at Comic-Con in San Diego, California. The blog notes the game will be available later this year.
The guys at DICE are an amazing crew.
Having spoke with Producer Alexander Grondal to get an overview of the game, I’m pretty stoked about getting on the battlefield.
Starting off, you enlist as either a member of the Royal or National Army and select your character class of Soldier, Gunner or Commando. The character customization is pretty deep for this type of game and does a good job of adding to the personalized experience.
Battlefield Heroes has a visual style that is very new to the franchise which also helps to distinguish it from previous Battlefield titles. But don’t be fooled by the cartoon-like animation as this game packs a wallop.
Look for this free, easy to pick up and play title later this year.
