Hello everyone and welcome to the Multiplayer Beta test of Red Faction: Guerrilla available on XBox Live. We hope that all of you enjoy your time playing, and we’d like to give you some tips on what to expect. We also hope that each of you will create a forum account and give us your thoughts on the Beta. We have a specific section setup towards the bottom of the list titled “Beta Feedback” which is separated into a few specific categories, so please post appropriately. Remember the “SEARCH” button at the top as well, as your issue may have already come up with a long string of replies available. Enough about the forums, we know all of you want to play the game, so read on to find out what’s included!

First and foremost, understand that you can destroy everything man-made. From barricades and walls, to the tallest structures, all of it can be leveled to the ground. Make sure to grab your trusty Sledgehammer or a Rocket Launcher and have at it. We also have a great document describing each of the different weapons you’ll find in this Beta test. You will also be able to equip special backpacks which contain power ups. Like the Jet Pack above, these can be found all around each of the maps and can really change the way in which you play the game. You can find out more information on the individual backpacks and their abilities HERE.

There are two specific game types to play within this Beta, Team Anarchy and Damage Control. Team Anarchy revolves around the common Team Deathmatch theme, but Damage Control is a whole new experience. For more specific information on Damage Control and the rules involved.
