Since the Beta officially opened, many people have already joined and had their time smashing everything to bits with the sledgehammer. Two writers over on Destructoid.com - Brad Nicholson and Jordan “Grim” Devore - have given their impressions on the multiplayer beta along with what they hope to see in the final game. This selection from Jordan’s write-up really made me think about how many times I’ve dropped a building on my own head and laughed, instead of blurting out a string of expletives.

“There is something magical about the process of slowly chipping away at a structure, watching as chunks of rock and steel fall to the ground, until finally, the whole damn thing decides to collapse on top of your head. In any other game, you would feel dumb for accidentally killing yourself, but not in [Red Faction: Guerrilla]. The guys at Volition have managed to make suicide itself fun.”
