Chinatown Wars ’Far Bigger’ In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, Gordon Hall, the President of Rockstar Leeds, talks about Chinatown Wars for the Nintendo DS. The studio has a long development history on portable platforms, best known for their work on the two PSP GTA games.
Web Stream for Spike 2008 VGA’s The 2008 Spike Video Game Awards has just started with an opening of host Jack Black and fellow Tenacious D band member Kyle Gass. The show promises to have an exclusive reveal of the first episode for the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV, The Lost and Damned, as well as other exclusive world premieres. Stay tuned as we’ll post a link to the GTA IV video as soon as it hits.
New Chinatown Wars info The Spanish magazine Hispana has a preview on CW as well as some exiting details. Hispana claims that the CW maps features Dukes, Bohan, Broker, and Algonquin while Alderney was left out.
GTA: Official update The GTAIV official website was updated with a PC section and some info in it, specially about the video editor.
Golden Joystick Awards Grand Theft Auto IV won some of the awards at Golden Joystick Awards. Although it didn’t make GOTY( Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare did ) , it got two other ones instead, Soundtrack Of The Year and Xbox GOTY.
Burnout Paradise Goes Back to the Future with DLC Okay, so it’s not exactly the same as Marty McFly’s time-traveling DeLorean, but the Jansen 88 Special that’s coming to Burnout Paradise next year is pretty close, right down to those burning flame trails and, yes, a hover mode.
Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box Announced, Adds Offline Multiplayer and Restart Option This February, Electronic Arts will release Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, an edition of Criterion’s open-world racer that packs all of the game’s downloadable content along with a new offline multiplayer mode and other tweaks.

This week, that demo will get opened up to the general public when the PlayStation Store gets its weekly update on Thursday.

GTA IV DLC Releasing November ’08 Eurogamer today claim that sources close to Rockstar North have told them that the first episodic content pack for the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV will be available during the month of November. We of course can’t confirm this ourselves, but it’s worth noting that the official release date is during the fourth financial quarter of parent company Take-Two Interactive, which stretches from this November to January next year. We’ll keep you updated.
GTA: World-Wide Sales Reach 6,3 million A new report was released today by the top providers of video game sales in the U.S., UK and Japan – listing the amount of units sold for the top five games from January through July.
Need for Speed: UnderCover Electronic Arts today revealed Need for Speed Undercover, with PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP editions of the racer slated to hit North America on November 18 and Europe on November 21.
Wheelman - Postponed 2009 As Midway’s losses mount, the company’s recently-released quarterly results also show that it has moved two of its upcoming titles, The Wheelman and This Is Vegas, into 2009.
GTA: ChinaTown Wars Revealed A report from UGO, sourced from a reader submitted survey, hints at unreleased details on Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the Nintendo DS. It’s worth mentioning that virtually no details have been released on the game so far, so anything we hear will be considered "unreleased." We should also consider it rumor for now.
E3: Moscow Racer First Look Akella’s Moscow Racer is exactly what you might think it is; a racing game set in Moscow. The game wasn’t playable or in demo form at E3 2008.
Atari Announces RACE Pro Publisher Atari has announced RACE Pro, an Xbox 360 exclusive racing simulation game. Due fall 2008, the game promises realistic car models and official FIA championships and tracks.
