BF2: Pirates Mod Update Video Battlefield: Pirates 2 posted a new video today containing a fly by of the 16 new maps they have planned for next release.
CryMod: Theme Park The map is based on a theme park / Amusement park. I haven’t based it on any particular one as we had to consider copyright issues etc within the assignment, however there are elements and inspiration taken from a few famous rides (post if you can tell which Tongue ) As I mentioned, right now it’s being made to show environmental work, however if people show interest I may make it into a playable level, be it for single player fun or multiplayer. I’m really looking for some good C&C from you guys as part of the assignment is to get reviews of your chosen project.
CryMod: Mountains Level Welcome to the official Crymod update regarding Ultimarage and his upcoming singleplayer map Mountains! Today at Crymod we have his latest progress report regarding the map that he released last week, showing off the latest work that he’s added to the environment.
BF2142 - First Strike Mod Update First Strike mod released a new teaser trailer today for the All Terrain Troop Transport.
CryMod: Assets: New Cars The creator of the models has informed us that the cars he has shown so far are a ’67 Nova and a 2003 Chevy s10 Extreme. Furthermore, he is working on a ’69 roadrunner, ’71 Chevelle SS 454, ’51 Mercury and a ’57 Corvette, these are currently not pictured. We are, however, provided with images of the first two cars mentioned:
BF2: OP Peacekeeper: Wiesel MK20 Operation Peacekeeper posted some new screenshots of the Wiesel MK20 as well as a video.
BF2: The Sir Community - Sandbox The Sir. Community released an open beta of their Sandbox mod for Battlefield 2.
CryMod: Vehicle: Concept Audi Do you remember the Audi RSQ from the blockbuster movie I, Robot? Our forum member TripTucker is in the progress to create a new concept Audi which is a mixture of the fictional Audi RSQ and the sports-car Audi R8. The vehicle isn’t finished at this time, but once it is finished he intends to make it driveable. For more information and future updates just keep an eye on the forum thread.

IGN: Cevat Yerli Q&A on Warhead Large gaming news and review site IGN has recently visited Crytek’s Budapest studio, where the new installment in the Crysis franchise, Warhead, is currently under development. CryMod: Watch Tower Welcome to the official Crymod introduction of a new building asset into the community. Forum member and modeller sierra1 has spent the past weeks taking it upon himself to model a watchtower from the popular FPS game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Today we’ve got some media regarding his progress in this task.
CryMod: Project TITANIC Hello community and welcome to the second regular update of Project Titanic, a Crysis Titanic modification. Today I would like to present you the 30’ (feet) Lifeboats and the Welin Quadrant Davits used on the Titanic. Totally there were 14 of those 30’ lifeboats which can hold up to 65 people each, furthermore there were 4 collapsible boats (up to 47 people) and 2 emergency cutters (up tp 40 people). The Welin Quadrant Davits were state-of-the-art technology, like the most technical installations on the Titanic.
CryMod: Vehicle: Stagecoach Mod Today we want to show you a new asset created by our forum member allen_idaho. He is working on a Stagecoach which is an old four-wheeled vehicle for passengers and goods. After he has added more details and maybe horses at the front, he will try to get it ingame as a working vehicle once the exporter with animation support for XSI is released.
